Hi All!!! Well it's launch day for the Simon Says Stamp Friends Like you release. Today I am sharing 4 pretty quick, and easy card projects using the Wildflower Cuttings stamp set. A full product listing can be founds at the bottom of this post.

CARD 1

For CARD 1, I started with a 4 x 5 1/4 card CS panel so I could have about an 1/8 of an inch border when I mount is to my card base. I first cut some Gina K masking magic using a Lawn Fawn Stitched hillside border die. I place the masking paper on my CS panel with a horizontal orientation. I then ink blended using 3 color inks. SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Marine, Cadette and Orchid. I started with the darker shade of blue (Cadette) or the outer ends then worked my way in with Marine then Orchid making sure I overlapped the colors to get a smooth blend. I then took the larger leaf image from the Wildflower Cuttings stamp set and stamp it 3 times with Versafine Onyx Black ink using my Misti stamping plat form. I started with the middle image to make sure it was centered then stamped the two other images making sure that the were relatively aligned at the bottom and evenly space. I then stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set. To finish the card off I channeled my inner Kristina Werner Hansen and added some stitched lines along the border of my ink blending using a black Micron 05 pen. Then added a few sequins from the SSS Northern Lights Embellishment pack with Gina K glue. I added another piece of CS to the panel then glued it to the Card Based for a little extra dimension and stability.

CARD 2

For my second project I cut a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 white panel using my Spellbinders matting basics A dies. I think took two for the smaller images from the Wildflower Cuttings stamp set and stamped them on the panel with Versafine Onyx black ink and an acrylic stamping block (which was faster but I did not like the loss of control)..... Had to stamp more than once as I was out of practice using a block. I then cut the butterflies from white CS using the Stitching Butterflies Die. I ink blended them with small blending brushes using SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Lemonade, Peachy, Carnation and Taffy. The bodies were cute from Distress Black CS. I glued them to the stamped panel and added a little foam tape behind the upper wing to have them pop up a bit

CARD 3

For CARD 3, I started with a 4 x 5 1/4 Neenah Desert Storm Kraft panel. I first brushed the panel with my anti-static powder. Using my Misti stamping platform, I stamped the leafy branch image with Versafine ink then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I repeated this step multiple times, turning the image, until I filled the background to my liking. I then took 2 colors of green ink and squished the inks on my glass mat to make a palette. I used a tiny water color brush and colored each of the leaves using a mix of lighter and darker greens. For the sentiment, I stamped the "Sending Lots of Hugs" from SSS XL Greetings 2 with VersaMark Embossing Ink (remember to hit your CS with anti-static powder before stamping) on C9 Artichoke cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I cut the sentiment out with the coordination die and then cut 2 more die cuts out to stack behind for dimension. This was glued down with Gina K connect glue. For the last step, I embellished with Pink Fresh Studios - Magenta Glitter drops. I then mounted the CS panel to a 4 1/14 x 5 1/2 side folding card base in using C9 Artichoke CS.

CARD 4

Card 4 is a super quick and easy one layer card. Something I RARELY do. I started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 white Neenah solar white CS panel. I stamped the Floral & Vase image from the Wildflower cuttings stamp set in Memento Black ink (which is copic friendly). I stamped the sentiment at the same time using my Misti Stamping Platform. Before I removed the stamp I stamped it again on a piece of GinaK Masking Magic. I then cut out just the vase part and place over the stamped image. After that I cut a mask using a circle die and place over the image and on top of the piece covering the vase. I ink blended the entire circle with Lemonade then hit the outside edges with Citrine. The masking paper was removed and I colored the rest of the image in with copic markers. Since the yellow is light the copic colors still showed up. For that little extra something, I splattered some Distress Spritz in antique linen. The final touch was adding the enamel heart ❤️.
