It's That Time of Year -Graduation Season

My niece's HS graduation is coming up. So I put together a card for her in her school colors. I pulled from a few of my favorite graduation products and added a few new finds for a fun celebratory card.

Let's start with the background panel. I started with a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 in. panel of Concord & 9th Harbor CS. I started by ink blending along the edges with SSS Cadette ink working my way to the middle with a light hand. Then I stenciled over the panel using the same SSS Cadette ink using a Dots and Stars stencil. I don't know what brand this is as I did not label or keep the packaging. I will include a similar stencil in the product list below. I then spritzed the panel with Imagine Sheer Shimmer Spray which gives a great shimmer and sparkle.

The Ribbon Frame is cut from Concord & 9th Buttercup CS 2 times. The die is from The Greetery. I shaded it using SSS Citrine ink. The the gold bauble on the ribbon is from Pink Fresh Studio. The Grad Cap die is from SSS & CZ Design cut from Neenah 110lb White CS. I shaded the edges with a B000 copic marker and blended back with a 00 blending marker. The tassle is cut from Distress Black CS. I added a Gold Bauble from Trinity Stamps. The Congrats sentiment is form SSS & CZ Design, cut 2 times each from the shadow and word so it's stacked for dimension. These are cut from the same Neenah CS & Distress Black CS. The Sentiment Strip above the congrats is stamped using Versafine Onyx Black Ink using a sentiment from Altenew Sentiment Strips 2 stamp set cut out and stacked with 2 more strips of CS to give it stability. All the items are glued down with Bearly Arts Glue.

The card panel is glued down to a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 top folding note card.

I have to say this card came together pretty quickly and could easily be replicated with other school colors. Congrats to all the Grads.
