Mama Elephant| Honey Bee Stamp| SVG Cuts
Hello Everyone. Today I am sharing some shaped cards combing some new and older products from Honey Bee Stamps, Mama Elephant, and Hero Arts. I was inspired by this card from Carol Hintermeier designed for Honey Bee Stamps. Adorable right?!
My challenge was to figure out what products I have that could give me a similar look and feel. My 2020 self would have clicked through on IG and added to cart... Am I right? 2021 me is like... let me take a look at what I have or what can I modify.
The place I find myself looking first are my SVG files for my Cutting Machine. I had a box card file bundle from SVGCuts.com - Hearts Aflame Box Cards I used the Mailbox Box Card file Panels 2 adjusted +35% Cut from 8.5 x11 Neenah Solar White 110lb CS.
The Mailbox Front was made from the Pink Folder using the Square for the mail slot and
The Ignite My Heart Box Card File Flap Panels adjusted to fit within the Mailbox panel. I ungrouped the the slot from the Pink Folder and moved it onto the curved flap panel.

I scored along the top of one of the Mailbox Bases about 5/8 of an inch and glued the flap to the Mailbox card front. Allowing for the card to open easily.
So now that we've gotten through all the technical stuff to have a shaped card base we can get to the fun stuff... the card designs.
The background was created using the Mail/Letters Image from the Concord & 9th Pickup Lines Stamp set. I created 2 masks to allow me to stamp the image multiple times to fill the background and create a seamless image. The mailbox panels where inked with Concord & 9th Honeysuckle ink to give some depth and dimension. I added Glossy Accents to the hearts and balloons.
