It's graduation season. Do you have a graduation party or special graduate in your life this year?
This one is for my niece who is graduating next week. This is done in her school colors to personalize it a bit. I am definitely behind this year. Usually I have a stack ready for friends, nieces and nephews...but this year it's a just in time production. This design is pretty quick and could be easily done in batches.
The background was done with the Shout Out Stencil ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide. I then stamped words of encouragement and celebration in the word bubbles using words/sentiments from the Sentiment Block Label stamp set and the Kindness & Thanks stamp set. They were stamped with Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide. The stars and the chunky "YOU ROCK" sentiment are from the Chunky Sentiment set. The "YOU ROCK" was stamped is Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder, fussy cut and popped up with foam tape. For a little added bling I used "Oh My Stars" Confetti from Trinity stamps.
The 4 x 5 1/4 card panel was glued to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card . I backed it with 2 scrap CS panels before gluing to the card for some extra dimension.
