Simon Says Stamp "Always There" Blog Hop- Day 1

This card was created using the Strawberry Pint Die Set. I think this is one of my favorites of the release. I cut a number of the strawberries that layer in 3 pieces and ink blended to give a little dimension. The flower sare super simple and come to life with a little pink copic marker detail and glossy accents on the flower centers. The back panel was created with C9 Bluebell card stock and and stenciled with the Dot Petal Pattern Stencil with SSS Pawsitively Saturated Periwinkle Ink from the new 6 ink cube pack ssc621. Then I glued the strawberries and flower down in a "scattered" pattern. The scalloped Frame border was die cut using the SSS Frames Wafer die with C9 Carnation CS cut and layered 3 times. The sentiment is from CZ Good Greetings 1 stamped in SSS VersaFina Clair Onyx Ink.

The second card was made from the same batch of die cuts made for the first card from the Strawberry Pint Die. The "pint" was cut from doodlebug patterned paper and a matching CS. I followed the packaging layout pretty closely. I created some interest behind the strawberries using some yellow ink lightly blended out. Then I added some splatter using some distress oxide spray in fossilized amber. The sentiment is from the Best Sister Stamp Set.
