Spellbinders Club Kits | Die cut pop up cards

I don't know about you but I have a large inventory of "had to have" items that I need to use. The Tropical Friends die set was a small die of the month club last year. These little birds are super cute! The great thing about the Spellbinders clubs is that you can sign up, skip, or cancel very easily. Unfortunately, the Tropical Friends set is out of stock. I think you could use these card formats for any cute die cut critters.

For this card I used a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Top folding note card in Papertrey Limeade Ice CS. The Background is an older die I doubled it up using Neenah Solar White CS in 100lb.

I cut the oval using Spellbinders Essential Modern Ovals from Gina K Lucky Clover CS and ink blended around the outside edge. The die cut parrot, flowers and leaves are all from the Spellbinders Tropical Friends Die set. I popped up the whole front panel with a Card Stock pop up mechanism shown in Jennifer McGuire's You tube video here.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Print Making Birds. I cut the sentiment and added the dots and then stamped "It's your Birthday" on the inside. Then added some embellishments to finish it off. Black enamel dot for the eye, flat iridescent sequins, and a red enamel heart sticker.

Here I made a shaped card using Simon Says Chunky A2 Scalloped rectangles which do not seem to be available anymore. You could use any scalloped or background die. The arch is popped up similar to the previous card. The pattern background was an older panel I made white heat embossing the Hero Arts Jungle Bold print Background stamp and using Lindy's Magical Powders. They give a great shine. I cut an arch out using Nested Arch Dies. I framed the arch with Neenah Desert Storm CS cut from the next size arch.

These next few card use many of the same supplies just mixed with other company supplies for a different Look and feel.
