When I saw the Curvy Background Stamp from Simon Says Stamp I thought it had so many possibilities. The wavy lines made me think of wind and snow and tree bark... I decided to create my cards around those ideas. Some light and airy, some dark and moody and some sparkly and fun!

For this card I use a base of Neenah Dessert Storm for the card base and also stamped the images on DS CS with Distress Oxide inks. I cut a circle from the middle of the card panel to resemble a bird's house in a tree. I also added a little white splatter for texture.

SSS Sweet Garden Birds stamps/dies (currently unavailable apologies it was on the site at the time I made the card)

SSS Bold Flowers (leaves). I think they are no longer available

For this fun Halloween card I started with a white CS Base and ink blended some yellows and purples to make a spooky night sky. Stamping the SSS Curvey Background Stamp in black it looks like a windy night sky. I then added the bats using a stencil and some distress black opaque paste. The splatter is Distress Mica Fortune Teller, Distress Antique Linen Spritz. For the eyes on the Boo, I didn't have any googley eyes so I found some eyes from another set and added some black gems. A little enamel hears sticker to top it off.

SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks - Sunbeam, Citrine, Orchid, Galaxy, Charcoal

For this card I wanted to use the SSS Curvy Background stamp to make a windy and snowy winter card. I started with a piece of Harbor CS from C9 and white heat embossed the image. I then used C9 Blueberry and Midnight inks to ink around the outside edge. The snowflakes where die cut using White Glitter CS and Blue Metallic CS.

This last card I created is a sparkly, whimsical, holdiday card. I gold heat embossed the SSS Curvy Background stamp on white Neenah 110lb CS. I then used some Lindsey Magical Powders for a Sparkly Watercolor background. I added the sentiment and frame using some Matte Gold CS. I also added some stars I had die cut from other projects in gold glitter and gold mirror CS.
