Rethinking a stencil and die bundle

The Greetery Pinwheel Party|Graduation cards| Easy personalization

It's that time of year again. I need to start thinking about building my stash of graduation cards. I have a number of High School and College Graduations coming up.... or at least a number of cards to send as we'll probably have another year of limited parties and celebrations.

All my cards today use The Greetery Pinwheel Party Bundle that includes layered stencils, dies and stamps. When I first purchased this Bundle I knocked out a bunch of birthday cards but really this set is great for any kind of celebration. So for this graduation season, I pulled this back out and used this for graduation celebrations.

I made a list of cards I would need this spring and then looked up the school colors. I inked the pinwheels in the various school colors to personalize the cards to the recipients.

To stencil the pinwheels quicker and easier, I used some of the suggestion from Jennifer McQuire's Video

I used the layering stencil and coordinating die for this card. Cutting 2 additional dies cuts to layer behind the border of pinwheels to add some dimension. I also added a few individual pinwheels for added interest.

Sentiment - MFT Star Graduate - stamped in versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder

Pinwheel Embellishment - Trinity Stamps Shiny baubles

I inked the note card with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide

Senitment - Honey Bee Stamps Congrats Grad stamped in versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder

Pinwheels embellished with Ebony Black and Green Apple Nuvo Drops

For this card I took 2 of the layered stencils and die cut the pinwheel border. I over- lapped them from the top and bottom of the card. I also backed them with 2 die cuts for dimension.

Sentiment - SSS CZ Design Conrgats Die Shadow cut out 3 times and word cut from sliver mirrored CS.

Embellishments- Trinity stamps Baubles -silver and shiny

For this card I just used the individual Pinwheel die cuts in the various sizes. I popped a few up with CS scraps. I grounded the pinwheels using very light inking of my favorite brick stencil. It seems to work for everything.

Embellishments - Trinity Silver Baubles

Hope you get to celebrate the Graduates in your life!
