Happy Mail with Ink Blot Shop
This card is really just about picking a color scheme and adding a little cuteness.

I stamped the large mail heart from the Happy Mail Stamp set using Memento Black Onyx Ink. I also stamped out additional Envelopes using the Happy Mail Background Stamp. I scanned and cut the images out using my Brother Scan and Cut. This provided me with a lot of extra envelope images to add to may card and have a few extras for a future project. I cut the scanned images a second time to be able to layer/glue to my colored images for extra dimension and stability.

The cute puppy in the center is an image is from Playful Pups. The pup was stamped and cut out in the same manner as the envelope images. I used a Xacto knife and cut a little slit and slipped an envelope in his mouth. He is then popped up with a action wobbler. I grounded him with the Happy Mail sentiment stamped with Versa Mark Ink and White heat embossed on black CS.
The background panel was something I had left over that didn't work on a previous card. I was able to repurpose it here. It was made I believe blending some Salvaged Patina Distressed Oxide. Then a spritzed it with Salvaged Patina Distressed Oxide Spray and flicked some Fresh Balsam Distress Mica Spray. I wanted the card to be a bit bigger to accommodate the larger images but the background panel would not fit right on a 5x7 card. So the panel is 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 mounted on a 4 7/8 x 6 1/8 card panel. I also cut the envelope a bit to customize the size. I stamped the envelope image from the Happy Mail Heart set on the envelope to coordinate.
