So this is my last post of 2023 for the Ink Blot Shop Design team. It's been a great year being part of a wonderful design team and a great first experience. I have learned a lot and have grown creatively. Thank you to all who follow me on IG and come here to read my content.
So here we go... this card has a Valentine's Day feel but can be used for Get Well, Sympathy or Thinking of you card. I like to keep it versatile.
All images were stamped with Memento Black Onyx Ink, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out using my Brother Scan-N-Cut Machine. The XOXO is from Big Block Alpha Stamp Set. I colored in an ombre effect- R39, R27, R35, RV13. The pup and rug are from Playful Pups - Dog E31, E33, E35 Rug BG11, BG23, BG45, BG49. The pup's nose was finished with glossy accents and I added black glaze pen to the eyes. The Hugs and Kisses sentiment from Sentiment Label Block stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder on Black Distress CS.
For the background I stamped the Sprinkle Hearts Background stamp on a piece of Neenah 1100Lb CS with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then sprayed the panel with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo Spray, Candied Apple Distress Stain, and Mica Spray in Winterberry. I blotted some of the spray away over the embossed hearts and also reheated to have the heart images show through. I cut the panel down to 5X3 3/4 inches then glued 2 scrap CS panel to the back and added to a top folding A2 card. The images where also layered with additional CS cut images and them popped up using foam tape. I finished the matching envelope by stamping the back flap with the Sprinkle hearts background stamped with C9 Tidepool ink.
